CHII & TAKU The public library Page 2
There were many information notes and signs on the corridor walls. Also there was a guide map of the inside of the library and notices about the readings for children.
There were even big paintings hanging on the walls.
There were some direction signs too. At the end of the corridor to the right there was a bathroom sign. Even for Taku, who was visiting the library for the first time, it was easy to find the bathroom. There was one for men, women, and another washroom with a wheelchair sign.
That's right, I understand now. There has to be bathrooms for people using wheelchairs. If not, it would be too hard for them. Wait a minute, can Chii go to the bathroom by herself...?
Chii said to Taku, who was thinking...
"Taku, could you please push the wheelchair to the bathroom?" Taku started pushing the wheelchair to the right of the wide corridor, making a big turn.
There was a wheelchair sign in the end of the corridor. And an automatic door. Chii extended her arm to a few buttons. By pressing the 'open' button, the bathroom door opened and the lights went on. The lights go on at the same time the door button is pressed.
